Story
a love letter to what lasts
Damascena isn’t just a business.
It’s a story I’ve spent my whole life uncovering.
It didn’t arrive fully formed — it revealed itself slowly, like a memory returning. It began in the pages of fairy tales, in the corners of second-hand bookshops, in the quiet awe of old stone churches and handwritten letters. It grew with every history lecture, every heritage project, every moment I found myself more at home in the past than the noise of the present.
But this isn’t about nostalgia.
It’s about remembering what matters — and helping others do the same.
Damascena is named for the rose that carries both beauty and purpose. A bloom used for healing, for scent, for ceremony. A rose that was never meant to be decoration alone — but devotion.
This work is the same.
I created Damascena as a home for businesses, creatives, and founders who want to build something with depth and soul. For women who are tired of fast trends and fleeting relevance, and who are ready to craft something enduring — something that feels like it was always meant to be here.

The Why Behind Damascena
Because your brand isn’t just what you offer – it’s a story, a memory, a value system.
Because beauty isn’t frivolous – it’s formative.
Because tradition can be a seed, not a cage.
Because words matter.
Because stories are how we remember who we are.

This work isn’t transactional.
It’s relational. Intentional. Sometimes sacred.
It’s quiet strategy, ancient symbolism, slow design. It’s choosing meaning over marketing fluff. It’s building a business your children will understand — and maybe one day, continue.
At Damascena, I only work with a small number of aligned clients each year. This allows me to approach every project with care, creativity, and the full heart it deserves.
If you feel that nudge — that your story is ready to be uncovered, told, and brought to life — I’d be honoured to walk beside you.
